Photos From The River

Below you will find photos of the beautiful trip to the river! It is located just outside of the town of Gualaca. Gualaca is a sleepy place. Very small. We saw the lots of dogs sleeping outside in their yards and kids, a cat, and lots of chickens clucking around. I love the picture with Luis' Uncle Miguel reading casually in his speedo relaxing with the trees! haha. He looks so natural. I also love the ones where you can see me talking with the little girls. They asked so many questions! They were bold!
Several photos down you will see photos from outside of Luis' Aunt Ligia's house. It is a very lovely location with a little river running behind the house. It is named ¨Jose Agustin¨ after Luis' Grandfather (and father and brother!)
The little dog is Totoy! He is a dog to be treated with caution, but definitely cute!

Boquete and Luis' little cousins eating a sort of natural popsicle called a Duro which means hard! They were strawberry.

A Quick Description of the Photos Below

In the first Photo, you can see Luis' cousin Jose Angel, playing with his new toy from Luis' Mom for Christmas. It was a fancy model car on a plastic display base. Jose Angel had no use for the plastic base. Why would any one want such a thing? How can you play with a car that isn't free to drive! Well, a screw driver quickly took care of the problem and the car was up and running!
The other funny pictures with the cows are from a trip to the town of Volcan. It is quite chilly there. Drops of rain hung in the air. Mist billowed like smoke from the base of the mountains. The area is famous for potatoes! We ate some boiled and they were delicious.
The Christmas pictures in front of the tree were taken on Christmas eve just before we left for Boquete. The picture of the giant bug is from Luis' Aunt Ligia's yard. The bunny belongs to Luis' Aunt Claudia's daughter, Ana Lorena.
