A description of the photos below

These photos were taken on the day of the parade in Boquete. The one where my mouth looks funny shows me eating a piece of hard earned candy caught at the parade. The one showing Luis' Mom, Rosalina, shows her looking fabulous in her new Montreal scarf that we got her for Christmas.
The last picture in this group is a bit random. It is from a trip to the small sleepy town of Gualaca, where Luis' Mom who is an English teacher, went to drop off the final grades for some of her students. We came with her and afterwards went to a small house to buy some famous Gualaca cheese. Across the street from the house we saw this Santa Claus. He looks almost like a real person. On New Years Eve he is destined to blow up because he is made entirely of firecrackers! Apparently there are competitions each year with these figures. The ones that look the most life-like win! After we saw this Santa Claus we have seen many more of these firecracker people! I have seen them in some of the most random places!
